Belcan Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a permanent position as a Drainage Design Engineer based in London. The role offers a hybrid working model with a minimum of two days in the office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team delivering infrastructure design projects across sectors such as custodial, aviation, defence and power.
As a Drainage Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed civil designs including utilities coordination, below-ground drainage, pavement, hard standing, levels, and earthworks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial and land development projects rather than highways and be proficient in relevant design software.
This role requires individuals who are eligible for security clearance and have hands-on experience with MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage. You will be expected to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Key Requirements- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial/land development infrastructure design
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Strong understanding of drainage design, earthworks, and external works
- Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, CDM regulations, and BIM processes
- Eligibility for UK security clearance
- Permanent right to work in the UK without a work permit
- Experience working within a UK-based design consultancy
