Belcan Workforce Solutions are currently looking for a Construction Site Supervisor for a Defence establishment in Reading. The post is for an estimated 12 month contract and is paying competitively on a daily basis.
Successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain UK Security Clearance.
An IR35 assessment for tax purposes is required for this engagement. In order to determine the Limited Company\βs correct IR35 status, an individual Limited Company assessment will be required.
About The Role
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Site Supervisor to join their daily site operational team. This role supports the wider construction management team across a selection of work packages within the Project delivery scope. The successful candidate will ensure that works are delivered to high standards of quality, safety, and programme expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Construction Manager in delivering the scheme.
- Coordinate and manage site activities in line with the programme.
- Monitor daily outputs and report progress to the Construction Manager.
- Ensure delivery of a quality product.
- Confirm that only trained and experienced operatives are engaged on site.
- Conduct monthly ESH reviews with suppliers and specialists.
- Deliver site inductions and regular toolbox talks covering Health, Safety, and Environmental issues, maintaining records of these briefings.
- Advise the Construction Manager on optimal work approaches and specialist capabilities.
- Record resources and monitor outputs against the programme.
