You’ll play a hands‑on role in ensuring production flow, solving problems lineside, and developing highly technical NC programs that directly support live build activity. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing expert lineside support within a high-volume aerospace manufacturing station.
- Creating, validating and optimising NC programs in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Performing numerical simulations, supporting jigs & tool specifications, and integrating programs into DNC systems.
- Collaborating with Production, Quality and Work Prep during demonstration and validation stages.
- Driving continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
What You’ll Bring:
- NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent qualification.
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering or NC Programming.
- Experience using CATIA and SAP (highly desirable).
- Understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes (beneficial).
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and ability to work effectively onsite.
