We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Senior Design Engineer to support Design in Catia V5 for long-term Aircraft CAD based repair projects. This is based on development of wing structure definition to structural sizing, interface and project requirements Toolsets. This is an initial 12 month Inside IR35 contract supporting our end client based in our offices in Bristol.
Key Requirements
- Catia V5 capability to support parametric model generation and update
- Catia V5 capability to support 2D drawing generation for detail parts and installations
- Understanding of Airbus modelling methodologies and processes
- Ability to interpret Airbus stress sizing data and project requirements to support CAD design solutions
- Interface management between wing structural components and systems
- Awareness of manufacturing and installation processes for consideration in design solutions
- Knowledge of repair processes
- Microsoft Office applications - Excel, PPT etc.
- PLM - PASS
