Fabricator / Welder

Job Summary:

Work independently or as part of a team to create engineering drawings in a multitude of disciplines such as:

1. Bending, forming, and fabrication of sheet and structural steel.
2. Use of hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders).
3. Ability to tack jobs together using MIG or TIG welding.
4. Grinding.
5. MIG / TIG welding.
6. Manufacture of framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Basic fabricating and welding.
2. Use of guillotine.
3. Use of brake press.
4. Use of plasma cutter / oxy acetylene torch / cutting.
5. Use of pillar drill / mag drill.
6. Manufacture of bespoke framework.
7. Time served Fabricator / Welder preferred.
8. Ability to manufacture from engineering drawings.
9. Ability to read drawings.
10. Sheet metal work.
11. Experience with fitting and assembly of complete machines.
12. Work well as part of a team.
13. Good timekeeping.
14. Proven attendance record.
15. Own transport preferred.
