Job Description
Queenshurst, situated in the heart of the lively market town of Kingston-upon-Thames, is a collection of 328 stylish apartments ideally located just a five-minute walk from the town's train station and town centre. Queenshurst benefits from a residents gym, 24-hour concierge, cinema room and meeting room as well as access to a new linear park and central garden square.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- The Estate Operative will be responsible for the cleaning of the Estate, communal areas, pathways and roads, keeping free of litter at all times.
- Regular site checks and inspections to be carried out.
- Take instructions from the Development Manager, ensuring you follow the rota set for you, unless directed otherwise, to ensure in the cleaning of estates and carry out these instructions.
- Carry out general cleaning and waste management.
- Move bins around when they are full by replacing the full bins with empty bins from main core areas, using an electric tug for safe and efficient handling.
- Safely keep all shrubs and shrub beds on estates clean and free of litter, rubbish, debris and any other unwanted matter or material not properly disposed of.
- Clean communal areas and communal features as directed by the Development Manager.
- Safely and properly dispose of collected litter waste material and rubbish and coordinate with the Councils Operatives when bins are collected.
- Clean bins and bin stores areas as directed following COSHH guidelines, ensuring these are regularly checked and any bulk items are reported to the Development Manager and any cardboard boxes are collapsed and disposed of within the cardboard waste bins.
- Clean the car park and bicycle stores ensuring that these areas are kept free of refuse and flammable items.
- Remove weeds from paths and other hard standing areas.
- Report any health and safety concerns or issues to the Development Manager or in his/her absence the concierge on duty.
- Deal with complaints, take the correct action and remain courteous and polite at all times.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer care and service are maintained at all times.
- Maintain effective security of the development while carrying out routine checks and patrols, ensuring all doors are closed and secure behind you.
- Whilst on duty, the Estate Operative should always be in uniform, keeping a tidy personal appearance.
- Assist the estate team with any additional tasks deemed as reasonable duties as requested by the Development Manager.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with Premier Estates Limited's Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety Legislation.
