At Eric Wright Water, our design team is expanding in Preston, and we’re looking for talented Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Designers to help us deliver essential water and wastewater infrastructure across the North West. With a significant increase in workload across our frameworks, we’re growing our in‑house, multi‑disciplinary design capability to support an exciting portfolio of AMP8 projects. Whether you’re an Assistant Designer eager to develop your technical skills or a Senior Designer ready to take on more responsibility, you’ll join a collaborative and supportive environment where your ideas will help shape sustainable solutions for local communities and the environment.
Experience in the water and waste‑water sectors is desirable for assistance roles and essential for senior roles.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Our projects span the full lifecycle, from outline and detailed design through to construction support and cover a wide range of infrastructure and non‑infrastructure works, including:
- Pumping stations, storage and settlement tanks
- Chemical dosing plants and treatment processes for water and waste water treatment
- Refurbishment of existing treatment works process plant
- MCCs, LV and HV electrical distribution systems…and much more!
