Project Quantity Surveyor – Eric Wright Construction
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full sub-contract procurement process – from enquiries to signed agreements
- Review and negotiate competitive subcontractor quotations
- Manage valuations and payments, ensuring accurate and timely accounts
- Take ownership of final accounts and client variations, securing best value
- Support key monthly CVR and P&L reporting to track project performance
- Prepare and submit applications for payment with confidence and accuracy
- Carry out site measurements to keep projects on track and on budget
- Support and mentor junior team members, helping them thrive
- Be an active voice in project meetings, collaborating across teams
- Keep everything running smoothly with strong admin and compliance standards
- Continuously develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic environment
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant qualification (HND, BSc or equivalent) and a valid CSCS card
- Strong construction knowledge, including methods, measurement, and standard contracts
- Solid industry experience with a sharp commercial mindset
- Confident communication and negotiation skills to drive the best outcomes
- A highly organised approach with excellent time management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
