Project Quantity Surveyor – Eric Wright Construction

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full sub-contract procurement process – from enquiries to signed agreements
  • Review and negotiate competitive subcontractor quotations
  • Manage valuations and payments, ensuring accurate and timely accounts
  • Take ownership of final accounts and client variations, securing best value
  • Support key monthly CVR and P&L reporting to track project performance
  • Prepare and submit applications for payment with confidence and accuracy
  • Carry out site measurements to keep projects on track and on budget
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping them thrive
  • Be an active voice in project meetings, collaborating across teams
  • Keep everything running smoothly with strong admin and compliance standards
  • Continuously develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic environment

What You’ll Bring

  • A relevant qualification (HND, BSc or equivalent) and a valid CSCS card
  • Strong construction knowledge, including methods, measurement, and standard contracts
  • Solid industry experience with a sharp commercial mindset
  • Confident communication and negotiation skills to drive the best outcomes
  • A highly organised approach with excellent time management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
