We are currently recruiting for a number of Hospitality Assistants for Castlewood Care Home, which is a brand new, state-of-the-art care home in Clitheroe. As a Hospitality Assistant you’ll do more than serve meals—you’ll help create experiences, provide independence, and maintain a safe, welcoming dining environment.
What You’ll Do:- Prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages to residents in a timely and professional manner.
- Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging independence while providing assistance where appropriate.
- Ensure residents are offered regular refreshments throughout the day.
- Set up and clear dining areas before and after meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining rooms, kitchenettes and food service areas.
- Monitor and report concerns regarding residents’ dietary intake, hydration, appetite or wellbeing.
- Follow food hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure residents’ dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and nutritional needs are respected.
- Promote a positive dining experience that enhances residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
- Assist with special occasions, celebrations and hospitality events within the home.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, snacks and hospitality suppliers.
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of individuals supported by the service.
