We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Document Controller to join our team based in Bradford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our documentation processes, ensuring that all project documents are accurately recorded, stored, and distributed. This position will involve close collaboration with our in house design team, external designers, construction delivery teams, and data capture completions team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and have worked in a busy and thriving environment ideally within document control. You will be proactive and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, regularly re-prioritising workloads to meet the needs of the business whilst delivering excellent service with accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage the control, distribution, and filing of all project-related documentation.
- Ensure all documents are up to date, accurately filed, and easily accessible to the project team.
- Coordinate document control processes with in-house and external design teams, ensuring timely and accurate exchange of information.
- Maintain document control registers and logs to track the status and revision history of documents.
- Support the construction delivery teams by providing necessary documentation and updates.
- Collaborate with the data capture completions team to ensure all completed project documents are properly recorded and archived.
- Implement and maintain document control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation for client and regulatory review.
- Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in document control or a similar role within the utilities or construction industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using document management systems and software.
