We are seeking Casual Cleaning Operatives to work as needed at St. Catherine’s Health Centre, Derby Rd, Birkenhead CH42 0LQ, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting designated areas (including toilets, showers, fixtures and fittings) using powered equipment where appropriate.
- Moving furniture as required.
- Ensuring all duties comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act, statutory and company instructions and any other legal requirements.
- Assisting in other establishments when required.
- Responding to incidents such as accidents, fires, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and completing necessary reports.
- Attending meetings as requested.
- Adapting duties as needed during staff absences.
- Pursuing personal development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Complying with company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar cleaning role.
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence in communicating with clients, patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
Shifts & Hours
Working 6 am – 8 am Monday-Friday on a casual ad hoc basis.
