The Eric Wright Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to work at our NHS Client's site: St. Catherine’s Health Centre, Derby Rd, Birkenhead CH42 0LQ.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bin, polishing and dusting of designated areas including toilets and shower areas and fixture and fittings.
- Moving items of furniture.
- Complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act, statutory and company instruction and regulation and any other legal requirements.
- Assisting and relaying in other establishments in certain circumstances.
- Attending and taking all necessary action in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and completing the necessary return and/or reports.
- Attending meetings as requested.
- Covering in staff absence and pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance of the role.
- Complying with company rules, policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Worked in a similar role, excellent customer service skills, confident communicating with clients, patients and colleagues.
- Subject to a standard DBS check.
