The role
We are seeking an Assistant Mechanical CAD Technician to join our Water team in St Asaph, North Wales. This role supports our design team, assisting in producing CAD drawings and models.
Main duties include:
- Supporting designers and engineers in creating CAD drawings and models
- Producing P&ID and mechanical layout drawings for the water industry
- Liaising with suppliers to incorporate CAD drawings and models
- Ensuring compliance with client CAD and BIM standards
- Contributing to design layouts and arrangements
- Assisting with site surveys and as-built documentation
About You
The ideal candidate is an experienced CAD Technician, preferably with municipal civils or water/wastewater experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office is essential. Good communication skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment are required.
