This placement is designed for university students who are looking to gain practical administrative experience as part of their degree or to enhance their employability within the charity and humanitarian sector.
This placement provides an excellent opportunity to develop professional workplace skills while contributing to meaningful humanitarian work supporting Eritrean refugees and displaced communities.
This is an unpaid university work placement.
Reasonable travel and work-related expenses will be reimbursed.
The placement is based on-site at our Birmingham office.
Attendance at the office is required, as the role involves organising confidential physical documents and beneficiary files, including orphan sponsorship records, which cannot be managed remotely.
Essential Requirements Current university student seeking a work placement or internship.
Ability to read and speak Arabic (essential) , as many of our beneficiary records and documents are written in Arabic.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Professional approach to handling confidential information.
Ability to attend the Birmingham office during agreed placement hours.
