Ergonia is searching for a detail-oriented Global Payroll Manager (Temporary) to join our team, supporting the Head of HR. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for our international workforce. This is a critical position that ensures our employees are paid accurately and on time while adhering to all compliance regulations. This is a temporary role at 1 day a week, 8 hours a day for an initial 4 month contract. Date rate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with HR, finance, and external partners to ensure accurate payroll data management.
- Perform regular audits of payroll systems and processes, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures that ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide support and training to HR and finance team members on payroll procedures and compliance.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations, taxation, and benefits policies across geographies.
- Assist in payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in global payroll management.
- Strong experience with payroll systems such as Deel, Remote, Multiplier or Rippling.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations in UK, US and Singapore in particular.
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of COE, EOR employment models.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
