Main duties of the GP Receptionist will include:
Answer incoming telephone calls
Greet and direct incoming visitors/patients in a professional manner
Book appointments and deal with general medical queries
Deal with angry or upset people and diffuse these situations confidently

Assisting with other ad hoc administrative duties
Our client is looking to recruit a receptionist with an excellent telephone manner who is friendly and welcoming. The successful Receptionist will have the ability to work productively in a busy reception area. Previous experience with a GP surgery/Medical Centre/Health Centre and use of EMIS system is advantageous but not essential., Be able to follow procedures accurately
