We have an excellent opportunity for an Injection Moulding Setter to join our client’s expanding team in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Please note: Ideally, you will live within 20 miles of WGC and have access to your own transport to be considered for this role.
About the role
- Effectively and safely carrying out tool changes in line with the company's schedule
- Working well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensuring injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels on new and existing products
- Assisting with continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to
- Liaising with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- Ensuring Health & Safety rules are maintained within your work area and demonstrating a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors, or anyone else on-site
About the hours & rewards
For the role of Injection Moulding Setter, you will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 10.30pm and Friday from 10am to 6.30pm. There is an excellent salary on offer of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum depending on experience. Training for the first month would be carried out between 8am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.

- Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment (essential)
- Experience with setting, conditioning, maintenance & process optimisation of injection moulding machines working with a wide range of materials
