Due to continuing expansion of our client’s manufacturing activities, they are looking for a Stores Person to join this leading provider of electronic design and assembly services in Widnes, Cheshire.

About the company

With over 70 years of collective experience in areas as diverse as avionics, automotive subsystems, digital video, distributed data acquisition, motor control and smart card development. Our client works with their customers at the leading edge of new product development from initial design, prototyping and certification through to volume manufacture, ongoing service, maintenance and repair, in short – the complete product lifecycle.

About the role

As a Stores Person, duties will include:

  • Management & Maintenance of the efficient operation of stock related activities
  • Booking In stock
  • Kitting and De-kitting of stock
  • Maintaining stock records and performing Audits
  • Management of computer records of stock
  • Stock paperwork, Orders and Delivery Notes
  • Handling Shortages, component concessions and other issues
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment within the stock area
  • About you

    To be successful for the role of Stores Person, you must have / be:

  • Flexible, organised and methodical
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Previous experience within an electronics related role or knowledge of electronic components would be an advantage
  • About the hours and rewards

    For the role of Stores Person normal working hours are 8am-4pm (Mon to Fri) with an element of paid overtime and occasional weekends. there is a salary on offer of circa £20,000 per plus:
