We have an excellent opportunity for a Physicians Associate to join and be part of creating a multi-Disciplinary team across the PCN, supporting the delivery of the Primary Care Directed Enhanced Service to meet the needs of the PCN population.

Our client is a forward-thinking Primary Care Network consisting of three practices, all based in the Ilford area of Redbridge serving a population of over 30,000 patients.
About the role
This is a new role, and we are looking for a driven and dynamic person to join us. As a Physicians Associate, mentorship and supervision will be provided, dependent on the post holder’s skills and knowledge and determined by the organisation’s clinical governance arrangements. We aspire to deliver approaches that demonstrate improvement in patient outcomes, contributing to reducing health inequalities across the PCN and improving the efficiency of general practice to deliver a best in class service.
Initially the overarching responsibilities will include:
- Provision of care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care under the supervision of a GP
- Delivery of safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the Primary Care Network (PCN), in consultation with the relevant GP
- Supporting the delivery of the Primary Care Directed Enhanced Service and potentially Enhanced Access to meet the needs of patients
- Following recommended annual appraisals and continuing professional development set out by the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA)
- Becoming a core part of the growing MDT
About the working hours and remuneration
For the right candidate, this role of Physicians Associate will attract an excellent salary of £40,000 to £50,500 per annum depending on qualifications and experience plus relevant holiday and benefits commensurate with the position.
