Porsche Retail Group have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Manager to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join the prestigious Porsche Centre Reading. This state of art newly refurbished showroom will be the first “Destination Porsche” Centre in the UK. The Centre shares a site with Porsche Central Operations and both the Porsche Retail Group and Porsche Cars Great Britain Head Offices, with shared facilities including an onsite restaurant, coffee bar and parking. The site is also located within walking distance of a local shopping park.
Please note: To be considered for this position, you must have recent experience as a Senior Parts Advisor or Parts Manager for an automotive brand.
About the role
As Parts Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Treating customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Ensuring that all parts orders are dealt with in the most efficient manner, taking account of customer requirements, time scales and costs
- Handling money in a secure manner
- Taking personal responsibility for keeping customers informed of order status
- Effecting the timely despatch and delivery of parts
- Keeping parts records and product information files updated
- Ensuring stock is located and records updated immediately
- Actively participating in perpetual and/or annual stock checks
- Keeping the department clean and tidy at all times
- Maintaining high standards of security
- Providing administrative support to the Parts team as required, i.e. filing and data input
About the rewards
In the role of Parts Manager your hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. There is a fantastic package on offer, including:
- A salary of £36,000 per annum
- Bonus opportunity of up to £416 per month
- OTE to £41,000 pa
- 10% commission on Equipment (e.g. roof racks, car seats etc) and on Drivers Selection (e.g. caps, t-shirts, key rings, sunglasses etc)
- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
