Our client is a premier grower and retailer of Christmas trees with 35+ locations in London and the South-east. They also offer tree installation, decoration and removal services. They are a sustainable, carbon positive company and care deeply about their environment and local community.
About the role
We are looking for Sales Assistants who are friendly, physically fit and dynamic who love the outdoors and want to sell real Christmas trees at our attractive, carbon-positive pop-up stores around London. This is a very fun and active job that requires heavy lifting and working in cold weather. The season runs from around 24th Nov - 24th Dec and you MUST be available to work at least 2 out of 3 of the below weekends so please only apply if you can work on these days:
- Nov 26, 27
- Dec 3, 4
- Dec 10, 11
About you
To be successful in the role of Sales Assistant, you must be / have:
- A friendly personality
- Physically fit and strong
- A love of the outdoors and tolerance to cold environments
- Outstanding customer service standards
- Attention to detail
- Positive, flexible and can-do attitude
- Proficient in English
- Able to work well under pressure in a very busy environment
- Management and retail experience is a plus
Staff are expected to have their own waterproof footwear, black/navy leggings, gloves and warm raincoat.
About the salary and hours
For the role of Sales Assistant full training will be provided and the following shifts are available:
- 10-hour shift
- 12-hour shift
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays Monday to Friday
- Weekends
Promotions will be awarded throughout the season and you will receive a salary of £
