About the role
As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will provide expert information regarding analysis, up sales, pricing, promotions and other key info for sales success across the departments and develop and execute creative media, email, social media and SMS strategies to engage audiences and continue the development of company initiatives. Due to the seasonal nature of our client’s business, this role is flexible to suit someone looking for a full-time permanent position or as a seasonal consultant (if preferred).
About the responsibilities
- Providing expert articulation to improve sales, marketing and a more informed workforce
- Reviewing sales and upselling strategies
- Identify opportunities by keeping track of competitor activity
- Lead the strategic planning of email/social media marketing and SMS/push notification programs including re-engagement, marketing and promotional activities
- Daily management of planning and creation of assets, optimization, segmentation strategy, template setup, and reporting
- Develop and implement email marketing campaigns that convey overall marketing messages clearly and in the proper tone to customers and prospective customers
- Test and review all campaigns prior to send including device render testing, link checks, proofreading, etc.
- Help develop and maintain a fun, inspiring brand messaging across all platforms
- Help to build strong and genuine relationships with customers
- Brainstorm new and creative growth/outreach strategies
- Manage consumer interactions across all social channels
- Manage budgets
- Team and Project management
- Work with advertising departments or agencies to increase customer acquisition
- Brand Positioning and Brand awareness
About you
To be successful in the role of Sales and Marketing Manager, you must have previous experience in a Sales and Marketing role within the retail industry and be / have:
- Excellent creative design skills and experience in creating print & digital content using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop etc
- Proven and demonstrable experience of hitting corporate sales targets
- Experience within social and digital marketing, Media Channels, Writing, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Attention to Detail, Organisation, Planning
- Skills in photography and videography is advantageous
- Strong written and personal communications skills
- Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly
- Strong quantitative skills
- Highly dependable, organised and able to work independently
- Excellent task management skills
- Understands the customer journey and metrics such as customer acquisition cost, customer LTV, CPM, etc
- Creative and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive and seek out new opportunities to improve tactics
- Ability to prioritise and execute tasks and work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation
About the salary and rewards
For the role of Sales and Marketing Manager you will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience plus:
