We have an excellent opportunity for a Joinery Production Manager to join the team at one of the UK's leading manufacturer and installation companies based in Leicestershire.

Our client has been delivering outstanding services for more than 25 years in the Joinery industry. They are a leading bespoke and specialist joinery manufacturer and installation company in the UK. Their resources, experience and standards allow them to produce crafted leading-edge bespoke joinery of the highest quality for their clients, from various commercial sectors and high-end residential markets. They offer a full turnkey service from design, development, manufacture, delivery and installation. With full in-house facilities, the workshop offers specialist operations including: veneering, spray shop facilities, CNC machining and panel processing.

About the role

As a Joinery Production Manager your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the workload of all operatives so that delivery dates are achieved
  • Coordinating and overseeing the workflow through the workshop (and resolving any problems identified)
  • Organising the team to deliver high-quality work and relevant quality controls
  • Building a team working relationship with strong communication skills
  • Reporting on progress regularly in production meetings and identifying any improvement necessary
  • Reviewing, commenting and advising on drawings and cutting lists before issuing for production
  • Maintaining and developing good housekeeping within the workshop area
  • Ensuring all relevant health and safety protocols have been adhered to
  • Being responsible for the team on the shop floor including production planning (hours and workflow management), quality control, scheduling (including deliveries) and liaising with project managers/clients

About you

To be successful for the role of Joinery Production Manager, you must be/have:

  • 3 years of experience in bespoke joinery
  • 2 years of Management experience
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Proficient with MS Office

About the rewards

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm with factory opening times from 6am to 6pm (so overtime may be needed from time-to-time). For the role of Joinery Production Manager, there is an excellent salary on offer of £45,000 per annum depending on experience and benefits include: Working from Monday to Friday (no weekends).
