We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our client\’s small housekeeping team in Romsey, Hampshire. The facility has been awarded a CQC Good rating. Their modern, purpose-built 51-bed residential care home is located in the heart of Romsey, with excellent access links to Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, and beyond.
About the role
As a Housekeeper / Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, toilets, and public areas
- Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels, etc., as needed
- Assisting with laundry duties
- Using supplies efficiently and economically
- Keeping storage areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked
About you
To succeed in this role, the following qualities are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided:
- Familiarity with infection control and hygiene procedures
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Previous cleaning experience
Salary & Rewards
The position is full-time (32.5 hours per week) offering £9.90 per hour, along with a generous benefits package.
