Due to expanding clients across Retail and Manufacturing, we have an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Consultant for an independent Health and Safety management consultancy. This role is Home Based, and you will ideally live in Northamptonshire / Oxfordshire.

About the role
The Health & Safety Consultant provides a range of services including compliance management for mainly large, retained clients across FMCG, Manufacturing and Retail and Construction, along with general Health and Safety Management for other clients. Key accountabilities are to:
- Provide relevant, up to date guidance for clients in accordance with Health & Safety legislation
- Communicate effectively, with all parts of the clients business to ensure any risks are managed
- Produce reports for clients on a range of technical service
- Evaluate clients Health and Safety Management systems ensuring they are fit for purpose
- Produce policies and procedures for clients and visit the site to implement them
- Provide telephone advice and support to clients when required
About you
To be successful for the role of Health & Safety Consultant, you must have / be:
- IOSH as a minimum
- Ideally a broad, multi-industry background in Health and Safety, Knowledge of Retail and Manufacturing an advantage
- Good communication skills along with excellent presentation skills
- Instinctively credible and able to engage and sell to a range of different clients
- Able to prioritise effectively to ensure an efficient and timely service to all clients
- Confident and able to adapt to different personalities, developing highly effective relationships
- Strong, professional report writing skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Competent with a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office, databases and CRM system
- Full Driving license and willingness to travel nationwide is essential
- Excellent diary and time management skills
- Knowledge of fire safety an advantage
About the hours & rewards
The Health & Safety Consultant role is a full-time work from home position and there is on offer a salary of £60,000 per annum depending on experience and benefits include:
