Porsche Retail Group have an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor to work for one of the world’s most iconic brands and join the prestigious and growing team at Porsche Centre Guildford. This well-located showroom is about to undergo a major redevelopment. The Porsche Centre is based within the main city area and there are retail parks close by. The dealership offers staff parking and is a 15-minute walk from Guildford main line train station.
Please note: To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have recent automotive Service Department experience.
About the role
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Advising potential, new and existing customers on which service or maintenance may be required to be performed on their vehicle
- Processing customer vehicles for service and repair in accordance with the Workshop Standardisation Process
- Providing a quality ownership experience at all times whilst achieving Porsche Retail Group targets and working within internal and external compliance frameworks.
About the responsibilities
In the role of Service Advisor, you will:
- Ascertain the customers’ automotive problems, conducting technical visual inspection, check vehicle maintenance records and examining service schedules
- Take bookings from walk in customers and upsell Services and accessories
- Prepare job cards for future bookings and ensure all relevant information is correct
- Ensure all keys to vehicles on site are processed through the ‘E-tag’ system
- Prepare service and repair estimates, advising on routine maintenance / repair services
- Tracking the vehicle through the workshop and updating the customer on progress
- Prepare invoices and take payments.
