About the role
As Food & Beverage Manager, your key areas of responsibility will be working alongside the General Manager & Head Chef to:

  • Control, manage and minimise all controllable costs efficiently and within set targets
  • Create and deliver a culture of exceptional customer service
  • Promote, monitor and manage service levels within the team, through observations and two-way feedback
  • Building strong relationships with peers and Head Office departments to effectively deal with matters concerning the venues stock package, promotional activity, staff development and employee relations
  • Recruit, select, develop and retain high calibre staff that reflect the brand and promote excellent customer service
  • Encourage and recognise outstanding performance, to increase team motivation and venue morale
  • Build community relationships and develop a social hub within your venue
  • Drive sales to achieve targets through effective staff training
  • Research and develop new concepts and ideas through research and development
  • About you

    To be successful for the role of Food & Beverage Manager, you must have / be:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • A solid understanding of core food and drink business levers
  • Ability to effectively view projects / situations to uncover opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
  • High levels of care and attention with ability to take initiative
  • Understanding of up-to-date nutrition and food industry trends

    For the role of Food & Beverage Manager, you will receive:

  • A salary of £26,000 to £29,000 per annum basic with an OTE of £34,000
  • 30% off all food items
  • 10% of alcoholic drinks & premium branded soft drinks
  • 50% off soft drinks, including coffee
  • All employees will receive £0.75p per hour worked in credit onto their app – up to £1755 per year
