Home Care Assistant in Ferndown

We have an excellent opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic Home Care Assistant to join an award-winning care team.

No experience required – they can provide a comprehensive training programme with an in-house mentor.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be covering Ferndown, West Parley, Longham, St Leonards and Verwood.

About the Home Care Assistant role:

• Personal care, like washing and dressing
• Meal preparation and hydration
• Medication prompts
• Mobility support and wellbeing checks
• Companionship and conversation (sharing special moments)
• Light household tasks and errands
• Encouraging social engagement and independence

About you:

• You’ll be kind, patient, reliable, and if you have a good sense of humour, this helps!
• UK driving licence and access to a car are essential
• A good command of English, and a positive attitude

• Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS (we’ll help with this)
• No experience needed – you’ll complete a fully paid, training programme with an in-house mentor
