We have an excellent opportunity for an Arcade Amusement Machine Engineer to join the winner of the 2020 prestigious Pier of the Year Award at the largest pleasure pier in Europe as they continue their exciting expansion and regeneration in Clacton-on-Sea.

About the Role
As an Arcade Amusement Machine Engineer, you will:
- Work closely with the current engineer and report to the Head of Coin Op Services to ensure the smooth operation of the Arcades department and company objectives.
- Have the opportunity to progress if you are able to demonstrate credentials required for other positions as they arise.
About You
To be successful for the role of Arcade Amusement Machine Engineer experience servicing electronic arcade equipment/products would be desirable but is not essential and you must be/have:
- Previous experience of fault diagnosis and testing of electronic components.
- Hands-on approach to installing and maintaining the full range of amusement machines.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issues.
- Committed, motivated and self-disciplined in your work.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail are necessary, together with the ability to work under pressure.
- Be able to communicate effectively with managerial staff.
- Good PC Skills and the ability to write clear and concise reports is necessary.
- Flexibility in hours and a can-do approach is required, along with the ability to work in a team with minimum supervision.
- Work effectively on your own initiative and possess a pleasant and confident manner.
- Enjoy meeting people, be reliable, trustworthy, and well-presented.
Due to the nature of the Tourism Industry, it is important that you understand the requirement to work some evenings and be flexible and prepared to work Bank Holidays and weekends when required.
About the Hours and Rewards
As an Arcade Amusement Machine Engineer, you will be working 5 days out of 7 and the hours will vary according to the time of year to ensure the smooth operation of the Pier. The start time is approximately 9am - 6pm and you will receive an excellent salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience which is paid on an hourly full-time basis plus:
