We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated and experienced Welder / Fabricator in Congleton, to join our clients’ expanding team of production operatives, TIG/MIG welding stainless steel products to the highest standards. This role is offering an excellent salary of £13 - £16 per hour plus benefits.

Important note: To apply and be considered for this role you MUST reside in the UK and be able to easily commute to Congleton on a daily basis.

The role of Welder / Fabricator involves working within a passionate team responsible for fabrication and welding of stainless-steel components, working in an environment of continuous improvement. Key activities involve:

  • Successfully achieving the daily planned production schedule
  • Maintaining and striving to improve production quality
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop

About You:

The ideal candidate for the role of Welder / Fabricator is someone who:

  • Is able to listen/learn and use their own initiative, to become a valued member of this friendly and close-knit team
  • Has an understanding of preparation of and using welding processes
  • Preferably is experienced in TIG/MIG welding / fabrication/sheet metal
  • Honest, reliable and committed – confident enough to ask questions and seek assistance when needed
  • Has a good attendance and timekeeping record
  • Good communication skills
