We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer service focused Client Manager to join their expert witness department at this leading provider of psychological services in Epsom, Surrey. Please note that you will be working from home due to Covid-19 restrictions, but you must be able to travel to the Epsom office as and when required.
About the Company
Our client supplies a diverse network of over 1000 expert psychologists to their clients, all of whom are used to working to fixed budgets, including complying with Legal Aid rates. As a dedicated Client Manager, you will be assigned to your client for the duration of their case where you will match your clients’ requirements to a selection of appropriately qualified professionals.
About the role
As a Client Manager you will work closely with and manage a range of contacts including psychologists and psychiatrists and key business accounts such as solicitors, local authorities, prisons and Crown Prosecution Service to ensure that requests for a wide variety of assessments are delivered in line with the client’s expectations and deadlines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and following up on enquiries and quotes (via telephone, online, email)
- Negotiating fees and deadlines with experts and clients
- Working autonomously, taking full responsibility for managing caseload in the region of 25+ active cases, ensuring client’s requirements are met and where possible exceeded
- Building and maintaining rapport with key accounts to drive new business opportunities which may include visits to their offices
- Proactively develop new business and respond quickly to leads
- Preparing, reading and sending confidential documents including appointment confirmations, client referral forms and final reports
- Dealing efficiently with general admin tasks and updating of all internal CRM systems
- Working to agreed processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and meeting legal requirements as required
- Escalating concerns/risks to line manager to ensure Client relationships are well maintained and objectives are met
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI’s to contribute to company objectives and strategic plan
- Any other reasonable tasks as agreed with your line manager
About You
To be successful for the role of Client Manager you must have / be:
- Educated to A level standard
- Good standard of IT knowledge i.e. Microsoft Packages, CRM systems
- Experience of working with vulnerable individuals would be preferred but is not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build professional rapport with both clients and associates
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to respond promptly to enquiries
- Effective planning, organisational and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, flexible with a ‘can do attitude’
- Able to handle confidential information sensitively
- Resilient and capable of juggling priorities and work under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate empathy as required
About the Hours and Rewards
As Client Manager your working hours will be 9am to 5pm and you will receive an excellent salary of £25,000 per annum plus you will receive:
- Up to £1,000 per annum performance related bonus on successful achievement of agreed objectives
