The Wholesale Junior Account Executive is responsible for managing and developing wholesale accounts across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. You will be instrumental in driving sales growth, developing key wholesale relationships, and ensuring the brand’s presence in these international markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales for EMEA & APAC, you will support the execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance brand representation across all markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners across the EMEA and APAC regions. Serve as the main point of contact for the assigned wholesale clients to ensure efficient communication and prompt resolution of any issues (e.g. reorders, returns, swaps). Track and analyse key account performance, making recommendations to improve sales and profitability (ST reports).
- Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Head of Sales EMEA & APAC to implement regional sales strategies and meet or exceed revenue and distribution targets. Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding the brand's presence in key markets. Ensure alignment of the brand’s global strategy across both regions to ensure that all wholesale partners accurately represent the brand's aesthetic, maintaining consistency in visual identity across all sales channels.
- Order & Inventory Management: Oversee the complete order process, from initial inquiry and entry to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure optimal inventory availability. Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any shipping or fulfilment issues.
- Reporting & Sales Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, providing insights into account performance, sales forecasts, and market conditions. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning in line with regional goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotional campaigns, and account needs. Act as the liaison between wholesale accounts and internal teams (logistics, account payable) to facilitate a smooth flow of information and service. Collaborate closely with the sales team to coordinate sales efforts, all showroom activities, and product reveals.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a wholesale sales or account management role, ideally in the fashion industry. Proven experience managing accounts in international markets, particularly in both EMEA and APAC regions. Familiarity with luxury or independent fashion brands is a plus.
- Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple accounts across various regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., JOOR). Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and provide actionable insights. Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or French languages is a strong advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
