Senior Designer
We are recruiting for a Senior Designer to join the design team at Erdem reporting in to the Design Director.
You will be working across all RTW aspects of our seasonal collections alongside the design team but with particular focus on Pre Collections.
The successful candidate will be a strong all-rounder, with a great level of taste and a clear understanding of the brand’s signature handwriting.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 4 years previous luxury or designer level experience.
Areas of Responsibility Include:
- Strong design skills in draping, 3-dimensional work, and illustration.
- Following the design process from research and concept development through to design work under the direction of DD and CD.
- Strong technical knowledge, working closely with the pattern team, attending fittings, and realizing final execution of samples through to production fits.
- Responsible for leading design work in Pre Collections working under the direction of DD and CD.
- Working across seasonal collections including pre-collections, show seasons, capsules, and special projects.
- Work with fabric, print, embroidery, and knitwear teams to build cohesion across concept developments.
- Working with the merchandising team to meet commercial requests and ability to translate collection themes into commercial proposals.
- Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
