The Role

Reporting into the Senior Merchandiser, the role will support with all day-to-day Collection Merchandising activities related to the RTW and ACC departments and their performance. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of key merchandising tools and processes, and assisting the team with implementing devised product strategy. A key role that requires good cross‑functional ties in the company and co‑ordination with Design, Product Development and Commercial teams. Both critical/creative thinking and product acumen are needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with cross‑functional peers in Development, Design, Production, Marketing and Sales to help execute the departmental goals throughout the lifecycles of each season.
  • Follow the development process of each season and ensure the upkeep of collection documents by accurately logging updates.
  • Involvement with the Small Accessory category and management of product lifecycle.
  • Ongoing competitor and product market research with a focus on range structure and price positioning and benchmarking. Contribute with suggestions where appropriate.
  • Coordinate and support with all administration duties relating to Market on behalf of the Merchandising team.
  • Manage timely and accurate completion of showroom documents/tools including Zedonk data entry and oversee Sample management, both before Handover and during market.
  • Produce Product Training packs each season. Product understanding is key in order to convey accurate information.
  • Prepare weekly sell‑out analysis reports across all channels of the business, and devise proposed actions alongside the Merchandising team.
  • Support with the delivery of seasonal Sell‑In reports that provide complete and coherent insights into the performance of a season, supported by qualitative market feedback.
  • Support with the Off‑price product process.
  • Deliver any ad‑hoc administration duties to ensure smooth running of the department.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Merchandising / Buying in a Fashion luxury environment is necessary.
  • Commercial awareness and Product sensitivity are key. Must demonstrate good understanding of the market and competitors and have a strong interest for product.
  • A creative thinker with both product and problem‑solving needs.
  • Competent with Excel and Powerpoint; Extensive analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Must be diligent and have proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise, efficient work style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be tactful and discreet in communication, comfortable with presentations.
