We are seeking a high‑calibre Communications Lead to build and drive Era4’s narrative at a critical stage of growth. This is not a coordination role. The successful candidate will be expected to think, write and execute directly, working closely with senior leadership to define how Era4 is understood in the market across AI infrastructure, energy, regeneration and national competitiveness.
Key responsibilities- Own and deliver Era4’s communications narrative from positioning through to execution.
- Shape clear, differentiated messaging across corporate, commercial and policy themes.
- Translate complex topics into compelling, credible stories for external audiences.
- Create high‑impact content including speeches, op‑eds, thought leadership and media materials.

- Build momentum across channels, ensuring communications land with the right audiences.
- Maintain consistency and quality across external outputs.
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate communications, PR or public affairs, ideally in technology, infrastructure, energy or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editorial judgement, with the ability to develop a clear and differentiated point of view.
- Strong experience shaping narratives in complex, fast‑moving environments.
- Ability to cut through noise and hype and communicate clearly and credibly.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across industry, academia and government.
- Hands‑on approach, with the ability to move quickly from idea to output.
- Comfortable operating in a high‑growth, evolving business.
- Existing media relationships.
- Experience in government, policy or regulatory communications.
You’ll be joining a company operating at the intersection of AI, energy and infrastructure — a category full of noise but lacking clarity. This role offers the opportunity to shape narratives that drive engagement with customers, partners and policymakers, while helping define how a critical infrastructure company is understood in the market. It is a high‑impact role with real exposure to senior leadership, significant autonomy, and the chance to build a communications capability from the ground up.
