About ERA
The Educational Recording Agency (ERA) is a copyright licensing agency facilitating the use of TV and radio recordings in education. Our members include the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. ERA supports teachers and lecturers by making it easy for schools, colleges and universities to harness the power of audioâvisual broadcast material for nonâcommercial educational purposes.
Our growth strategy involves producing curated programmes of highâquality education resources that showcase this rich material for teachers and lecturers by themes and subjects. Our resources are free to ERA licensed institutions. Since 99% of schools in the UK and almost all colleges already hold an ERA Licence, the primary purpose of our marketing activities is to raise awareness of and trust in ERA, not to generate revenues.
The ERA Board has recently made the decision to structure the company into three departments: Operations, Product and Marketing & Partnerships. The Head of Marketing & Partnerships is a new role and there is considerable opportunity for an experienced and strategic marketeer with a track record of partnershipâbuilding to shape the role and determine the staffing needs of the department.
We are a small, friendly team and offer a good range of staff benefits. These include FORA membership with free access to gyms and fitness classes at FORA sites across London, regular brunch/lunch events, participation in Cycle to Work Scheme and income protection and life assurance cover (after probation period).

The job is fullâtime but depending on the candidate's experience we will consider partâtime hours. Flexible working requests will also be considered. ERA currently operates a hybridâworking arrangement with a minimum of two days in our central London office and up to three days working from home.
