The Role:

Heritage & Veranda Resorts are seeking an exceptional Director of Sales to join our dynamic Commercial team. This pivotal role is responsible for proactively leading and managing the Leisure, Luxury, Golf and Mainstream Travel Industry segments for both Heritage Resorts & Golf and Veranda Resorts Mauritius, ER Hospitality.

We are looking for a proven sales leader with deep roots in luxury hospitality, who thrives in highly competitive markets and is passionate about hands-on sales leadership. This is not a purely strategic or oversight role; you will actively manage your own market segment, represent the hotels at trade shows and industry events, and lead by example.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive revenue by personally managing a key market segment, UK & Ireland building and nurturing high-value client relationships
  • Lead and develop a sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and collaboration
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both the Luxury & Golf and mainstream travel industry sectors
  • Conduct familiarisation trips, showcasing the unique offerings of both brands
  • Represent the hotels at global trade shows, client events, and industry functions, acting as a true ambassador of the brands Heritage Resorts & Golf & Veranda Resorts
  • Set and monitor clear KPIs for the team, providing coaching and support to ensure targets are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Commercial team to align sales strategies with marketing, revenue management, and operations
  • Assist Head of Sales UK & Europe with financial yearly budget to ensure maximum marketing initiatives are allocated throughout the year

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in luxury hospitality sales, ideally with a global brand, and a strong track record of success in highly competitive markets such as UK & Ireland
  • Sales & Marketing experience in destinations such as Mauritius or Indian Ocean would be a prerequisite
  • A hands-on approach to sales – you are currently managing your own client portfolio, attending trade shows, and actively driving business
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team, with a focus on mentorship, motivation, and performance management
  • Deep understanding of the luxury and travel industry segments, with established relationships and a strategic mindset
