We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Regional HR Advisor (ER Advisor) to join our People Experience team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting our sites across the South East and outskirts of London, providing professional HR advice, coaching managers, and partnering closely with leaders to deliver practical, people-driven solutions that make a real impact. This is a regional role that combines operational delivery with strategic influence. You’ll spend around two to three days per week visiting sites, with the remainder of your time spent working remotely. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own employee relations cases from a HR perspective including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability processes.
- Advise and coach managers on employment law, company policies and HR best practice.
- Prepare investigation reports, correspondence, and formal documentation.
- Support managers to resolve people issues fairly, consistently and in line with legal requirements and company policies.
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the Regional HR Manager.
- Maintain accurate employee relations records and documentation.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law and practical experience handling ER cases end-to-end.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills across all levels.
- Confident using HR systems, we use Workday (HRIS), Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
- A data-driven and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
- The ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- A full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
- Experience in the logistics or distribution sector would be advantageous but not essential.
