As our digital marketing continues to evolve, we are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of developing and improving our paid media performance.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing marketing team for a Paid & Social Media Manager.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced paid media professional who is passionate about driving ecommerce growth through data, testing and continuous optimisation.
Reporting to the Digital Growth Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of our paid media activity across Meta, Google Ads and other relevant channels, ensuring campaigns align with wider commercial objectives.
Alongside paid media, you will play an important role in developing our organic social presence, using performance insights to help shape content direction, identify growth opportunities and maximise audience engagement.
Working closely with the wider marketing, ecommerce and creative teams, you will translate commercial objectives into effective campaigns, continually improve channel performance and contribute to the ongoing development of our digital marketing strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making data-led decisions and driving measurable improvements through a combination of analytical thinking, creativity and commercial awareness.
Daily responsibilities will include
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of paid media channels, ensuring campaigns align with the wider growth strategy.
- Manage the day-to-day performance and optimisation of paid campaigns across Facebook Ads Manager (Meta).
- Manage and optimise Google Ads activity across Search, Shopping and Performance Max.
- Work closely with the Digital Growth Manager to develop paid media campaigns aligned with commercial goals, trading priorities and seasonal marketing activity.
- Produce weekly and monthly paid media performance reports, presenting actionable insights, recommendations and opportunities to improve ROAS, CPA and overall channel performance.
- Develop, manage and implement an ongoing testing roadmap across audiences, creative, messaging and campaign structure to drive continual performance improvements.
- Work closely with the creative team to identify opportunities for new advertising assets and refresh campaign creative based on performance insights.
- Contribute to the development of our organic social strategy, ensuring activity complements paid campaigns and wider commercial objectives.
- Use social insights, reporting and platform trends to recommend improvements to content direction and channel growth.
- Apply strong copywriting skills to adapt and deliver the EQVVS tone of voice across paid campaigns, organic social content, promotions and digital touchpoints.
- Analyse website and ecommerce performance to identify opportunities to improve conversion, on-site merchandising, customer journeys and overall performance.
The ideal candidate will have
- Proven experience independently managing and optimising campaigns within Facebook Ads Manager (Meta Ads Manager) is essential.
- Support wider ecommerce initiatives, campaign launches and promotional activity.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and emerging trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve digital performance.
- Proven experience independently managing paid media campaigns, within an ecommerce, retail, performance marketing or digital marketing envorinment.
- Proven experience developing, launching and improving paid social campaigns through testing and data-led optimisation.
- Strong understanding of campaign structure, audiences, creative testing and performance strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make commercial recommendations.
- Experience identifying growth opportunities and driving improvements across paid channels.
- Experience with organic social activity and understanding how paid and organic channels work together.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to develop and optimise performance-driven messaging.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads across Search, Shopping and Performance Max is highly desirable.
- Understanding of ecommerce performance, conversion and customer journeys.
- Experience within fashion, retail or ecommerce is desirable.
- Experience with GA4 and additional paid platforms such as Tik Tok Ads would be advantageous.
