Responsibilities
- Client Success: Combine Mobility Tax and Equus Platform knowledge to answer client queries and explain how the platform meets their needs.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous reviews of platform configuration to identify and rectify errors.
- Documentation and Support: Document, demonstrate, and support tax configuration for internal and external users of the Tax Engine.
- Engine Excellence: Contribute to continuous enhancement and maintenance of the Tax Engine for accurate calculations and compliance, collaborating with Tax Research and Product teams.
- Collaborative Solution Delivery: Partner with Global Client Success team members and wider Equus teams to deliver sustainable long‑term solutions and improve internal processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor, measure, and provide feedback to enhance processes and drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2‑3 years of expatriate or employment tax experience, preferably a mix of in‑house multinational and/or Big4.
- Qualifications such as CTA, ATT, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in employment taxes and expatriate taxation, including tax planning and compliance for employees.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, double‑tax treaties, and social security agreements for global mobility.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint with strong formula and data‑analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex tax data.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate and compliant tax calculations.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to non‑tax professionals and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest trends in expatriate tax and technology.
