Equity House London is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our growing property maintenance team. You will help maintain our residential properties to a high standard, ensuring that tenants receive a safe, clean, and well-maintained home.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across residential flats and communal areas
- Undertake basic plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, carpentry, and handyman tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests efficiently and professionally
- Inspect properties and identify repairs or potential issues
- Liaise respectfully with residents, contractors, and the property management team
- Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety requirements
- Support property move-ins, move-outs, and preparation of vacant flats
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property maintenance, building maintenance, or a similar role
- Practical skills in general repairs, painting and decorating, plumbing, or basic electrical work
- A proactive, organised, and problem-solving approach
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
