Job Title: Caretaker Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Caretaker. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the premises, as well as performing routine repairs and addressing any issues that arise. This position requires someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and committed to creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Facility Maintenance: * Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and resolve any maintenance issues. * Perform basic repairs, such as fixing leaks, changing light bulbs, and addressing minor electrical or plumbing issues. * Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks when required. 2. Cleaning and Hygiene: * Ensure all areas, including communal spaces, offices, and restrooms, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. * Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately. 3. Security and Safety: * Secure the premises by locking doors, windows, and gates when necessary. * Monitor the property for any safety hazards or security breaches and take appropriate action to address them. 4. Groundskeeping: * Maintain outdoor spaces, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing debris or snow. * Water and care for plants, gardens, and other landscaping features. 5. Inventory and Supplies: * Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. 6. Support and Assistance: * Provide assistance to staff, tenants, or visitors as needed. * Set up rooms or spaces for events, meetings, or other activities. Qualifications and Skills: * Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. * Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. * Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
