The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting. This is a permanent or fixed-term opportunity, working with children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote children’s learning and development through play-based experiences
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
- Ensure a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications and Experience
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Caring, patient and proactive approach
- Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion
