Equitas are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Tameside to recruit a dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover, beginning in November 2025 and lasting for one full academic year. About the Role: The successful candidate will: * Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. * Use a variety of teaching methods to support and stretch all learners. * Prepare students for assessments and support them in achieving their full potential. * Maintain high standards of classroom management and health & safety in practical sessions. * Be an active part of the department, contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities. Requirements: * Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). * Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level. * Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver practical lessons confidently and safely. * Passion for inspiring young people through hands-on learning. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
