We are working with a rapidly growing SEMH/SEN Trust with multiple specialist provisions across Manchester, seeking a Learning Support Mentor / Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking trust that prioritises staff development, internal progression, and long-term career growth.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with SEMH, trauma, and behavioural needs
- Acting as a key mentor, building strong, consistent relationships
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
- Supporting pupils' emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Recording incidents and safeguarding concerns using systems such as CPOMS
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working within SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision settings
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
