Based at Aston Manor Academy but working across Equitas Academies Trust.
Hours and Salary
36.5 hours per week.
Grade 2: £24,796 to £26,824 FTE. Grade 3: £27,254 to £33,699 FTE. (Salary assessment, subject to experience, skills and qualifications).
Job Description
Equitas Academies Trust ICT Central Services team have a vacancy for a reliable, creative, and organised professional with a good knowledge of IT and excellent people skills to provide support across the Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the transformation of our network systems through supporting the implementation of project development work across the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Support the basic operation and configuration of Academy desktop computers and any other devices.
- Provide first line helpdesk support, monitoring, resolving, and escalating tickets as required.
- Prioritise and maintain IT data records accurately.
- Maintain all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist in the transformation of network systems and deployment of new projects across the Trust.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good knowledge of IT and excellent people skills.
- Excellent planning, organising and communication skills.
- Proven track record of problem solving.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a busy education setting.
- Experience in customer‑facing roles is preferred.
