- Have experience leading Operations, Business Operations or a similar business-wide function
- Ideally have experience within a technology-led or fast-growth business
- Have operated successfully in a scaling environment
- Demonstrate a strong track record of improving processes, accountability and operational effectiveness
- Be comfortable working across commercial and technical functions
- Be confident using data, metrics and business reporting to support decision-making
- Have built structure and operating processes rather than simply managed an established function
- Be comfortable challenging existing ways of working and driving constructive change
- Be highly hands-on, pragmatic and effective at both strategic and executional levels
- Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Be commercially minded, solutions-focused and comfortable making decisions with significant autonomy
Candidates below Head of Operations level will also be considered where they have demonstrated meaningful ownership of a comparable remit and are ready to take on broader responsibility. There is genuine scope for the successful candidate to develop into a Director of Operations role over time.
