About the Company

Our client is a market-leading, private equity-backed global live entertainment business, operating an extensive portfolio of events across international markets.

Following significant investment and continued expansion, the business is embarking on an ambitious transformation programme focused on professionalising its corporate functions, improving operational efficiency and establishing scalable systems and processes to support its next phase of growth.

They are seeking an experienced Procurement Global Process Owner to play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding procurement governance, systems and operating standards across the international business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group Procurement Director, the Procurement Global Process Owner will take ownership of procurement processes, governance, systems and reporting across a highly decentralised international organisation.

Working closely with Group Finance, Technology, Legal and local procurement teams, the successful candidate will lead the procurement elements of the wider finance transformation programme, establishing consistent Source-to-Pay processes, strengthening supplier governance and driving the adoption of best practices across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and developing Group-wide procurement policies, processes and governance frameworks, establishing consistent operating standards across international markets.
  • Leading the design and implementation of end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes, including supplier onboarding, sourcing, contracting, purchase orders and vendor master data management.
  • Driving procurement systems transformation, supporting ERP implementations, process automation and the development of scalable procurement technology solutions.
  • Establishing robust supplier governance frameworks covering third-party risk management, supplier performance, contractual compliance, ethical sourcing and ESG requirements.
  • Developing Group-wide spend analytics, management reporting and savings tracking capabilities to improve commercial visibility, data quality and procurement performance.
  • Partnering with Finance Transformation, Technology and regional stakeholders to project manage procurement transformation initiatives and embed sustainable process improvements.

About You

You'll be an experienced procurement transformation or operations professional with a strong understanding of procurement processes, systems and governance within complex international organisations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in procurement operations, procurement excellence, process ownership or procurement transformation within a complex, multi-market organisation.
  • Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay processes, procurement governance, supplier onboarding, third-party risk management and supplier performance frameworks.
  • Proven experience implementing or improving procurement systems, ERP platforms, procurement technology and associated reporting capabilities.
  • Strong project and programme management skills, with experience delivering cross-functional transformation initiatives and driving process adoption.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, including procurement data management, spend visibility, performance reporting and savings validation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across different functions, countries and operating environments.
  • A pragmatic, commercially minded and adaptable approach, comfortable establishing structure and governance within a decentralised, evolving organisation.

Experience within private equity-backed businesses, international transformation programmes or operationally complex industries would be advantageous, although sector experience is not essential.
