A newly acquired business in the services sector is seeking an experienced Post-Merger Integration Lead to drive the finance and back-office integration following a recent acquisition.
This is a high-impact delivery role overseeing all aspects of integration planning, TSA management, and operational alignment across core corporate functions. You’ll be the key interface between the acquiring group and the acquired entity, ensuring a smooth transition post-deal with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Integration: Lead the end-to-end integration of finance systems, controls, payroll, and reporting processes
- TSA Oversight: Manage the Transition Services Agreement, including scope definition, delivery, service levels, and exit planning
- Back-Office Harmonisation: Align HR, IT, legal, and administrative functions with the acquiring organisation’s standards
- Day 1 Readiness & TSA Exit: Ensure continuity on Day 1 and a structured transition away from TSA dependencies
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central point of contact across internal leadership, functional leads, and external advisors
- Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate and manage risks and interdependencies across the integration programme
- Governance & Reporting: Deliver regular updates on progress, KPIs, and milestone tracking
Experience Required:
- Strong track record delivering post-merger integration and/or TSA workstreams
- Deep understanding of finance operations — systems, reporting, controls, and payroll
- Hands-on experience managing and exiting TSAs in a mid-sized acquisition environment
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capability — able to shift between the big picture and operational delivery
