About the job:
We are currently partnered with agrowing SaaS Fintech company, who are looking for a skilled individual to lead their team of Data Scientists. Our client is looking for someone to own and drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of data initiatives across the organisation, enabling scalable growth, and optimising customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Director of Data, this role will be responsible for leading the team both from a technical and strategic perspective. Given the sector this client operates in, the successful candidate should come from a highly regulated industry e.g., Finance, Trading, etc.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in data-related roles, with at least 1+ years in a leadership position, preferably in a SaaS or Fintech environment.
- Hands-on experience with data technologies and modern data platforms.
- Strong background in data analytics, visualization, and statistical modeling. Experience with tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing data teams.
- Experience in implementing Machine Learning models or AI-driven features in a production environment.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
